To accelerate the development of smart cars by realizing "made in China 2025"

At present, our country is promoting the transformation and upgrading plan of manufacturing industry with the core of "China made 2025". In the "13th Five-Year Plan for the Development of Automobile Industry" issued by the China Automobile Industry Association recently, it is clearly pointed out that "actively developing the Intelligent Networks Union" is one of the development goals of China's automobile industry. What is the significance of developing smart cars to China's automobile industry and even the manufacturing industry? What problems should we pay attention to in developing smart cars in China? This paper discusses the development trend of smart automobile industry and technology from three dimensions of market application, automobile products and automobile industry. It focuses on the status quo and trend, development strategy and implementation path of smart automobile in China, and explains the strategic support role of developing smart automobile for Made in China 2025.

This year is the beginning of the year 13th Five-Year, and the year of full implementation of "made in China 2025". Made in China 2025 is the program of action for the first ten years of implementing the strategy of manufacturing power in China. It will promote and guide the transformation of China from a manufacturing power to a manufacturing power. It points out that the deep integration of the new generation of information technology and manufacturing industry is triggering far-reaching industrial changes, forming new production methods, industrial forms, business models and economic growth points. The automobile industry is one of the ten key areas in the implementation of Made in China 2025. Smart cars are the important support for the implementation of Made in China 2025 and the integration of informatization and industrialization, representing the direction of the transformation and upgrading of the automobile industry.

I. concept and system structure of intelligent vehicle

1, the concept and classification of smart cars.

Intelligent vehicles are equipped with advanced on-board sensors, controllers, actuators and other devices, which integrate modern communication and network technology to realize intelligent information exchange and sharing between vehicles and X (people, vehicles, roads, clouds, etc.), so that vehicles have complex environmental perception, intelligent decision-making, collaborative control functions, and can achieve comprehensive safety, energy saving. Environmental protection, comfortable driving, gradually replace the new generation of cars that people operate.

According to the different routes of technology, smart cars can be divided into two categories: autonomous and online. Autonomous intelligent vehicles only rely on camera, radar and other on-board sensors to sense the surrounding environment of vehicles, and the vehicle's own computing equipment to make decisions and control vehicle behavior; network-connected intelligent vehicles through communication and network technology to obtain the surrounding vehicle and environment information, and the vehicle controller and cloud platform to make decisions together to achieve the actual. Now information sharing and control between different traffic elements are coordinated.

2, the relationship between intelligent vehicle and intelligent transportation system, vehicle networking.

The relationship between intelligent vehicle and intelligent transportation system and vehicle networking is closely related, as shown in the following figure.

Intelligent vehicle is an important part of intelligent transportation system. There is intersection among the three, which are intelligent network vehicle, Cooperative Intelligent Transportation Management System and information service. In addition, the vehicle network can also provide a wealth of on-board information services for drivers and riders, and services in the automotive intelligent manufacturing, e-commerce, post-market, insurance and other aspects. Only by real-time information interaction based on full interconnection, large data analysis and high-speed cloud computing, can intelligent vehicles truly have full intelligence. Therefore, interconnection is the inevitable direction for the development of smart cars. In fact, the intelligent vehicle starts from the autonomous mode, and is gradually developing toward the "autonomous + network" integration of intelligent network vehicle, which is also the intersection of intelligent vehicle, intelligent transportation system and vehicle network.

The core of the new round of scientific and technological revolution is that the Internet will be integrated into all aspects of human society with unprecedented breadth and depth, forming a new era of "interconnection of all things" including the traditional Internet (that is, the people-to-people network), the Internet of Things, the Internet of Industry and so on. Intelligent network vehicle is the product of the deep integration of the new generation of information technology and automobile industry. It will not only become an indispensable part of the Internet of Things, but also possibly form a new intelligent network terminal besides computers and mobile phones, making human travel safer, energy-saving, environmental protection and intelligent.

Two, the development of smart cars is of strategic significance to the upgrading of China's manufacturing industry.

In the new wave of scientific and technological revolution, the global manufacturing industry to mass customization production, that is, intelligent manufacturing, the overall upgrade trend is becoming increasingly obvious, for which countries have formulated transformation strategies. Among them, Germany's industrial 4.0 is the most representative. It takes the German automobile industry as the main body, and its goal is to build a data-driven interactive intelligent manufacturing system. Following the trend of the world, "Made in China 2025" clearly put forward the deep integration of informatization and industrialization, in order to seek a new historical opportunity period, accelerate the development and ultimately achieve the strategic goal of manufacturing power. Under the new normal, the sustainable and healthy development of China's economy must rely on the real economy closely. In this sense, the transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry is imperative.

The transformation and upgrading of automobile industry under the background of a new round of scientific and technological change will be a process of parallel interaction and synchronization of the two systems of automobile manufacturing and automobile products. That is to say, the "intelligent manufacturing" of automobiles will rely on and promote each other with intelligent automobiles, and together support the automotive industry to a new intelligent realm in the future. On the one hand, intelligent manufacturing will provide support for the implementation of smart cars; on the other hand, smart car users will become the demand side of mass customization production, they can talk directly with enterprises, making C2B mainstream.
